Symptoms

OFSAAI 8.1.1.0 rotateAtomicDBPwd.sh is not working with RAC jdbc:oracle:thin TNS method. When attempting to run rotateAtomicDBPwd.sh using RAC JDBC, the following error occurs:

./rotateAtomicDBPwd.sh ATOMIC <password>

[UPDATESCHEMADETAILS] Connection error : IO Error: could not resolve the connect identifier "\(DESCRIPTION"
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
  at com.iflex.fic.util.updateconfig.UpdateAtomicSchemapwd.updateTableEncryption(UpdateAtomicSchemapwd.java:62)
  at com.iflex.fic.util.updateconfig.UpdateAtomicSchemapwd.main(UpdateAtomicSchemapwd.java:43)
