Agile Export Web Service Failing after Enabling Security for Web Services With Error: "The HTTP header is missing in the incoming client request message" (Doc ID 2802642.1)

Symptoms

An integrations which uses the Agile export web services was failing. The below is the error, when the web service was invoked:


[2021-06-30T21:15:26.070+00:00] [xxxxxxxx-Managed1] [NOTIFICATION] [WSM-00349] [oracle.wsm.resources.security] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '45' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: ] [ecid: 0000NdUlgH^Fw005zz^AyW1WrDve000001,0:2:1] [APP: AgilePLM] [partition-name: DOMAIN] [tenant-name: GLOBAL] [WEBSERVICE.name: ExportService] [WEBSERVICE_PORT.name: Export] [oracle.wsm.policy.name: oracle/wss11_saml_or_username_token_with_message_protection_service_policy] The HTTP header is missing in the incoming client request message. Service will send back a 401 Challenge to the client with response header WWW-Authenticate: BASIC realm="owsm".

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Invoke the integration that uses the Agile export web services. Refer to chapter 3 Exporting Data of Agile Product Lifecycle Management AIS Developer Guide.
  2. Get the error mentioned above.
