Configure UIM Data Partitioning based on UIM Roles (Doc ID 2802864.1)

As per the current functionality that exist in UIM, data partitioning is based on WebLogic Groups as mentioned in UIM Security Guide.

However this approach has a challenge if an external LDAP provider is being used for user authentication and group for partitioning can't be created through WLS.

This would have been entirely under the control of UIM, had partitioning was based on UIM roles that can always be managed through EM console.
