Error 'File not found in the server' When Attempting to Download an XML Export file in P6 (Doc ID 2804116.1)

When attempting to export a project to XML format, the job completes successfully but when trying to download the file the following error occurs.

File not found in the server. Please contact your system administrator.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open a Project in P6 and export it to XML (Primavera or MS Project).
  2. When the export completes successfully, attempt to download the file from the Job Status (P6 Professional) or Service Status (P6 Web) view.
  3. Observe the reported error.


A P6 Services process is running on a separate server from the P6 EPPM application.
