ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
DRP plan suggesting more Planned inbound shipment than required
We can see that the pegging for On Hand appears to be correct. The problem arises for the pegging of the firmed Internal Requisition on 01-JUL-2021.
Pegging for IR for 19440. There are forecasts for 12880 and 2880.
- for the 19440 IR, 730 pegs to the forecast for 12880, which has been reduced to 1130 by the OH, leaving 400 left of this forecast having yet to be pegged.
- for the 19440 IR, 2880 pegs to the forecast for 2880, leaving 0 of this forecast having yet to be pegged
- Since IR is for 19440 and we subtract 730 and 2880 to meet the forecast above, this should leave 15830 left to meet other demands
The 15830 left is not pegging to any of the future forecasts and thereby causing the plan to recommend an extra 'Planned inbound shipment'.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The quantity from the Internal Requisition should be included when pegging to the forecast demand in the future.
