Duration Does Not Change When Changing Activity Start on Gantt Chart (Doc ID 2804667.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When dragging the start date of an unstarted activity on the Gantt Chart to make the start date earlier, the finish date is also being pulled, therefore keeping the Planned Duration constant.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the Planned Duration to increase and the finish date to remain constant.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into P6 Web.
  2. Open a project and drag the start date to an earlier date.
  3. Finish date will adjust earlier too and planned duration will not change.
