SIM Does Not Generate STK File For Unit And Amount Stock Count if Count = Snapshot (Doc ID 2804689.1)

Last updated on MARCH 20, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When performing a UNIT & AMOUNT stock count in SIM, if the counted quantity is equal to the snapshot quantity (for all items), SIM does not generate the STK_*.dat file.

This file is expected to be generated even if there are no changes in SIM stock because it needs to be processed in RMS, so any stock differences between RMS and SIM are corrected.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a Unit and Amount Product Group with 5 items
2. Schedule the PG
3. Run the ExtractUnitAndAmountStockCount batch
4. Take a Snaphot
5. Select the stock count and count quantities same as snapshot qty
6. Complete the authorization

SIM does not generate the flat file.
