Horizontal Plan Output For Safety Stock Is Incorrect When User Defined Safety Stock Is Split Among Different Projects
(Doc ID 2807248.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 16, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.1.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
We are seeing an issue when User defined Safety stock is assigned to different projects - this can result in safety stock shown in Horizontal plan being lower than actual requirement.
e.g.
NAV -Inventory / Planning / Safety Stocks
Enter item name
Start date qty Project
01-MAR 50 1234
01-JUN 100 4567
We expect horizontal plan to display 150 for safety stock and it only displays 100
The ASCP plan will plan for both safety stocks to be met and this 150 of supply in Horizontal plan appears to have excess of 50 for the PAB
