Symptoms

When attempting to stop the Agile application server the following error occurs in the console

ERROR

Connecting to t3://<ADMINSERVERHOSTNAME>:<ADMINPORT> with userid superadmin ...
This Exception occurred at Tue Sep 07 14:00:07 UTC 2021.
javax.naming.CommunicationException: Failed to initialize JNDI context, tried 2 time or times totally, the interval of each time is 0ms.
t3://<ADMINSERVERHOSTNAME>:<ADMINPORT>: Destination XXX.XX.XX.XX, <ADMINPORT> unreachable.; nested exception is:


STEPS

  1. Log into the Agile Application Server host
  2. Go to path <AGILEHOME>/agileDomain/bin
  3. Run the below command
    stopAgile.sh/cmd FORCE or stopServerAgileManaged1.sh/cmd FORCE
