Incorrect Distribution Rule For Virtual Warehouse With Protected Indicator Enabled (Doc ID 2808271.1)

Symptoms

Incorrect Virtual Warehouse Distribution

Oracle Retail Merchandising System(RMS) does an incorrect distribution rule for items that inventory only in VWH that protected indicator enabled . This causes mismatch in stock on hand and transfer reserved buckets.

Steps To Recreate:

  1.  Create a Physical warehouse with at least 4 virtual warehouse (VWH1, VWH2, VWH3, VWH4). Virtual warehouses VWH1 and VWH2 will be configured as protected indicator. VWH4 is the primary virtual warehouse
  2.  Perform inventory adjustment for the 2 virtual warehouses with protected indicator 'Y' (VWH1 and VWH2). Ensure that the other virtual warehouses (VWH3 and VWH4) does not have inventory.
  3. Create a CO type transfer or an externally generated transfer with from location as the Physical warehouse for 2 units.
