Watchdog SIGALRM And Restart Of The SLEE

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) 126.96.36.199.0 version,
On Production Service Logic Controller (SLC) and Voucher and Wallet Server (VWS) Nodes, it is observed that the Service Logic Execution Environment (SLEE) will periodically restart with a SIGALRM from the watchdog. Most commonly this happens just after starting the SLEE, but it also happens without warning during problem periods.
Below is the Error report during this.
The understanding is that "pid=-1" means that the watchdog decided to do this to itself, what is the reason causing this?
