Goal
On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC), 12.0.2.0.0 version,
It is observed that numerous sessions being dropped on Service Logic Controller (SLCs) and having to be reconnected. It is observed that Diameter Control Agent (DCA) disconnecting client and resetting all sessions upon receiving malformed message. Trace analysis shows missing segments in the TCP stream, so potentially packets have been lost and the message is unable to be interpreted.
DCA logs errors along these lines:
The problem here is that when the connection to the peer is closed, all sessions are lost. Also the overhead of reconnecting all of these concurrent connections at once appears to be overloading the SLCs.
Is it possible for the DCA to log these errors and drop the messages but keep the client connected?
