Symptoms

On : 2.2.0.3.0 version, Environment

WebLogic went down with Out of Memory due to D1-RETCC SQL Query.

-reproducibility has not been confirmed.

-The other 11 machines were running normally, so there was no business impact.

WebLogic support analyzed the heap dump and found that "com.splwg.base.web.dataExplorer" is the suspect.

The result is shown below.
-The heap is used rapidly from about 13:00 and is exhausted at 13:05.
-When checked the SQL executed from s2mdsvaw10 from ASH and AWR.
The SQL for Zone 'D1-RETCC' (SQLIDcy50ryx7yb3mv) seems to be under heavy load.

SELECT ACT.CRE_DTTM, ACT.D1_ACTIVITY_ID, ACT.BUS_OBJ_, CD BO_CD, ACT.BO_STATUS_CD FROM d1_activity act, d1_activity_type at WHERE act.activity_ type_cd = at.activity_type_cd AND at.activity_type_cat_flg = 'D1CR' AND act.cre_dttm IS NOT NULL AND ACT.CRE_DTTM <= :1 /* SQL for Zone 'D1-RETCC' / / com.splwg.base.web.dataExplorer.common.DataExplorerSQLExecuter *
