ECM: Data Retention Manager (Inputs needed)

We are trying to understand if there are any best practices or any utility per oracle which could be used for ECM application tables. Referring to similar utility from AML Behavior Detection we have DRM utility in Mantas do we have similar stuff for ECM Layer as well?

Basically we have two purposes behind this ask, ideally this could also be alike for other clients as well.
1) As the volume of data grows in production environment we would need strategy to purge the data in table. Again it really depends on table to table as how we would delete records.
2) Currently no table is partitioned in ECM, which probably means when partitioning is done it improves the performance of batch execution.

1) Is something like this pipelined in future releases?
2) Do you have any recommendations per table?
3) We know that evented and case related tables should be untouched, any other advise?
