NI 7.3.6 | Discrepancy Results Not Correct (Doc ID 2812826.1)

NI 7.3.6  |  Discrepancy List 


An entity (for example : a physical-device) is not present in inventory, but its present on the network side. In order to resolve this discrepancy the user ran :

1-the related import scan and ,
2-then the discovery scan in NI application.

But during discrepancy detection, its found that the device is NOT coming with "Severity:"Critical" & "Type:"Entity+" in the list which is expected because it’s not present in the inventory. However, the user is seeing some improper data with Severity:"Warnings" & Type:"Attribute" for this device in the Review-Discrepancy List.

Why is this issue coming ?
