Goal
Does NEWITEMLOCATIONBATCH.SH (NIL) insert data into RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL only and not RPM_ITEM_LOC?
When you create a three-level Item in Oracle® Retail Merchandising System (RMS), i.e., STYLE, SKU, and UPC, and range it to a store location, you notice only transaction-level item, i.e., SKU level, is directly is inserted into RPM_ITEM_LOC. Thus, an entry is made into the RPM_ITEM_LOC_WS table.
When you execute the NIL batch, it will populate the RPM_FUTURE_TABLE table.
Please let us know if this understanding is correct?
If this is correct, then for the data migration exercise where you seed data into the MOM, you should directly insert data into RPM_ITEM_LOC and RPM_ITEM_LOC_WS and run the NIL batch to populate RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL?
