Error:'mkdir: cannot create directory \u2018/mpt\u2019: Permission denied' When Running agile9database.sh Script (Doc ID 2813497.1)

Symptoms

Running agile9database.sh script fails with error.

ERROR

"mkdir: cannot create directory \u2018/mpt\u2019: Permission denied"

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Install 19C Oracle Database.
  2. Log in as user '<non-oracle>' (not 'oracle' user) in the Database Server.
  3. Run agile9databse.sh script that is available in the path:<RUP_HOME>/DB_Installer/agile936<rup_no>/db_oracle.tar/agile93617db_oracle.
  4. Execution fails with error: "mkdir: cannot create directory \u2018/mpt\u2019: Permission denied"
  5. Cannot proceed with Agile schema installation.

Changes

 Upgrade to any 9.3.6 Release Update Pack(RUP)
