Age Group Stored in Database Is Not Always Equal to Age Group Displayed in GUI (Doc ID 2814904.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety - Version 8.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Age Group stored in the database does not always equal the Age Group displayed in the GUI.

For example, where the patient's age was 70, the Age Groups were defined as shown below.

Console > Code List > Age Group

In a test case with the onset date of 09-FEB-2020,

when the date of birth is modified from 09-Feb-1950 to 10-Feb-1950, changing the Age from 70 to 69, the Age Group in the UI becomes blank.

This is consistent with the NULL in the corresponding AGE_GROUP_ID column in the CASE_PAT_INFO table but still not correct.

Note: Age Group is calculated based on the Event Onset Date and the patient's Date of Birth.
