When Attempting To Create A Payment Applications Type BP Record and When Viewing Line Items/Detail Form It Will Remain Blank and No Objects Are Displayed (Doc ID 2815287.1)

When attempting to create a Pay Applications type BP record, the Detail form does not load when attempting to view Line Items, the form remains blank. Other Pay Applications records have been created successfully previously. It appears to be something related to the specific line item data that was being retrieved.

"Error 500" is displayed in the Browser Developer Tools when attempting to view Line Items Detail Form: "An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x1) was found in the value of attribute "<dataelementname>" and element is "rows""

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate to the Project/Shell where the issue was reported > User Mode > Upper BP node > PayApp type BP.
  3. + Create > In "Create New BP" window, Enter the required fields > Click on "Line items" tab
  4. Note that Line Items window remains blank... However, with F12/Dev Tools enabled an "HTTP 500" Error is displayed in the Dev Tools Console or Network tab.
