Symptoms

On : 2.3.0.2.0 version, Installation

NMS - Error Message JAVA Platform SE Binary has stopped working after updating to Java 8 Update 281 on Client Machines
The message appears when users upgraded java on their machines and tried to login to NMS.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1.  Remove all installed jdk/jre on the device
  2.  Install both 32- and 64-bit Java 8 JRE update 281
  3.  Set PATH to 64-bit JRE/bin location
  4.  Launch the NMS application
  5.  Now you will see the pop-up error about SE binary…
