Information in this document applies to any platform.

Though CLEARANCE_PROMO_OVERLAP_IND is set to 0, clearances created on items with active promotion are getting approved.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create a new promotion with start date = vdate + 1 and an open end date.
  2. Add a simple promo component and add one promotion detail at Colour Diff level (or Parent level) and at Zone level (Promotion zone), with a Fixed Promotional Price less than Regular price.
  3. Approve the promotion detail.
  4. Upon successful CC execution, notice that in RPM_PROMO_ITEM_LOC_EXPL that the records for the promotion detail set, are inserted at Diff level (CUR_HIER_LEVEL = DL) and PZ.
  5. After the promotion went live, on detail start date + 1, create Fixed Price clearances: at SKU level for more than one SKU within the PL/DL items selected in point 1, and Store level for more than one Store within the Zone selected in point 1.
  6. Select all the clearances and the action to Approve.
  7. Notice that RPM for one store and each of the SKUs return Conflict found (due to clear/promo overlapping) but approved the clearances for all the other stores and each of the SKUs.
