Rehostuser Hangs After Elasticsearch Errors (Doc ID 2821229.1)

Users are being moved from an old backend to a new backend, where both backends have Elasticsearch running.
The rehostuser for one particular user has been running for a VERY long time and the user has relatively little mail.
The restore completed on the destination system but it looks like the imsbackup process on the source system is stuck waiting for a DB lock which is held by the rehostuser process.

An imcheck was run and under "Locks grouped by object", the following was observed:
