Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

The default relationship type when linking a Finish Milestone as a Successor is Start-to-Finish (SF).

Note: This occurs in 20.12.4 and 21.5 and later releases after a change to prevent invalid relationships from being added to milestones.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The default relationship type when linking a Finish Milestone as a Successor should be Finish-to-Finish (FF).

STEPS
-----------------------

  1. Open a project in P6 Professional
  2. Highlight two activities, the second of which is a Finish Milestone
  3. Right-click and link using Link Activities
  4. Resulting relationship type is SF
