Unable to Expand Channels of SONET Network Segment in Network Provisioning Assistant to Make Assignment (Doc ID 2825851.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to make a SONET block assignment on the CLR/DLR Design, the user is unable to expand the "Segment <LOCATION> -<LOCATION>" on the Select Channels screen in Network Provisioning Assistant. See image below.





Process to Observe Behavior

1. Inventory Management.

2. Connection Design.

3. Query for and open the Connection Design of the desired circuit.

4. Click CLR/DLR Design.

5. Double-click the SONET assignment block going from <LOCATION> to <LOCATION> to open the Network Provisioning Assistant.

6. Click NEXT.

7. Attempt to expand the segment and it will not do so. Clicking NEXT throws the error below.

ERROR

Please select a channel for the segment between
<LOCATION> and <LOCATION>.

 

Changes

The "Allow Lower Rates" feature was previously enabled on the parent circuit at the time the SONET assignment was made on the child circuit. It was subsequently disabled sometime after.
