Warning Message "Ref Des X is already used on Parts XYZ" Is Displayed When Change Order Is Moved to Next Workflow State (Doc ID 2829743.1)

Symptoms

When promoting Change Order to next status, below warning message is displayed. 

Error

Ref Des X is already used on Parts XYZ

Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Update in Java client | admin setting | system |smart rule | duplicate Ref Des to be "Allow"
  2. Log in to Agile PLM Webclient
  3. Create Change Order C1 which has Parts P1 and P2
  4. Click on Actions drop down and click on Audit Release
  5. "Ref Des X is already used on Parts P2" warning message is displayed
