SLEE Processes on the SLCs Do Not Stop in a Graceful Order (Doc ID 2830130.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 and later
Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C), the Service Logic Execution Environment (SLEE) processes do not stop in a graceful manner to allow for the termination of any outstanding sessions open with upstream servers.  For example, charging sessions.

As a result, these sessions do not terminate until the upstream server times them out.

Is it possible to configure a staggered shutdown of the SLEE processes in a way to clean up these sessions?
