Periodically, the P6 EPPM Web environment becomes unavailable, with the following errors captured in the P6WebAccess.html log file:

Immediately after P6 is started the following error is captured.

<TIMESTAMP>, COT PrmThread-3 ERROR com.primavera.infr.admin.XmlMgr Error getting setting: Services.TeamMemberEmailNotification.EnableEmailForTimesheetReviewer Cannot find item: TeamMemberEmailNotification. Your configuration is out-of-date.

Later in the log the following gets captured.

com.primavera.infr.db.SQLConnectionPool - 1 db connections from pool PML were cleared due to validation failures for database:

This issue can also be accompanied by a distinct spike in CPU usage on the database server.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Restarting the P6 managed server via the WebLogic Console remedies the issue for a time, but, is not a valid solution since the issue will consistently reoccur.

The environment was upgraded, but, the configuration being used by P6 EPPM Web was not.
