Symptoms

As per the requirement it is needed to add some additional custom fields to the account profile and pay pages during account creation process so that the customer can enter new data that will be either stored in a custom profile, used to decide what schema the account should go to or what payment term to use.

They not able to customize the account creation flow in Billing Care

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

In order to add Custom fields in the 'Profile' page during account creation, below changes were done:
1. Added below in viewmodel--> customGeneralInfoViewModel.js in order to append the new HTML Div 'customerSection' to existing viewmodel.

$('#customerDetailSection ').append($('<divid="customerSection"></div>'));

2. Created customCustomerDetailView.html wth new fileds and corresponding viewmodel customCustomerDetailViewModel.js
3. Below is customRegistry entry.

generalInfo: {
viewmodel:
'../custom/viewmodels/accountprofile/customGeneralInfoViewModel'
},
customerdetail: {
view:
'text!/bc/custom/templates/accountprofile/customCustomerDetailView.html',
viewmodel: '../accountprofile/customCustomerDetailViewModel'
},

b) REST customization to add new custom field into input flist of new account creation
Overriding account creation method "createAccount()" of "PCMAccountModule" class. Please refer "CustomAccountModule.java" file for more detail.
Create input flist by calling "convertToInputFListForCreateAccount" of "RegistrationWorker" and get custom field "Customer Id" value from extension field of "RegistrationAccount" object. Add "Customer Id" value in the returned input flist.
