Project and Team Codes Not Grouping in Dashboard Scorecard in P6 Web (Doc ID 2833528.1)

Last updated on MARCH 04, 2022

Applies to:

Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Dashboards in P6 Web, a Scorecard is created in a portlet and the scorecard data is grouped by project codes. Under ID grouped projects codes are showing as empty, however, two columns over, under the group code name, we have several project codes within that group. Same with team names under ID and name under team codes group and still show no teams grouped under ID.

Grouping by Project Codes in Scorecard should sort properly.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In P6 Web, go to Project >EPS
  2. Choose a Project Code type and apply a value to a number of Projects
  3. Go to Dashboards
  4. Select Customize
  5. Under Portfolio Views, Click Add
  6. Highlight New Scorecard and hit Select
  7. Enter a Title and Click Save and Close
  8. Locate the new Scorecard and click Customize
  9. Add the Project Code type column to the view
  10. Click the Grouping tab
  11. Change the Group By to the selected Project Code type and clock Apply
  12. Notice that the Project Codes are not grouped

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot group in Scorecards as intended. .
