Symptoms
In TF 8.0.8.2 , new feature pool of analysts : Alerts are going into dead lock when the same alert is opened twice
Steps to Reproduce :
1. User 1 reviews an alert, dispositions it and closes it.
2. Alert goes back to queue, and is still showing up at the top of the queue.
3. If user 1 opens the same alert again, then the alert is again assigned to user 1, but user 1 cannot take the “review” action.
4. There is no way for the user to “un assign” the alert, so we’re reaching a dead end.
