RFB Compare: "Error While Loading Preferences" When Used In the Line Items Tab

Symptoms
On Unifier : Version 20.12.10
In a Request For Bid (RFB) type Business Process (BP) record, after the Bid Due Date has passed (bid closed):
Expected Result
The Compare function should pop up a window so that the user can compare the vendor/bidder data side by side.
Actual Result
In the 'Proposal Management' tab of the record, select the vendors/bidders by using the Shift key, and then click on the "Compare" button. The users can see all the results of the data side by side.
However, in "Line Items" tab a window pops up that reads: "Error while loading preferences."
