Qn1:After running pin rerate recurring event charges are not getting applied.

Configured Volume discount on the cycle fee. Created an account purchased volume discount in the mid cycle, cycle fee charge & discount applied based on the number of active accounts at that time of purchase.
To get the correct discount, before billing , run pin_rerate utility. It has reverted the recurring charges and discounts applied by generating new adjustment event but not triggering the recurring charge again with new event.

Why recurring charges are not getting applied after running pin_rerate ?

Note - Command used is pin_rerate -t <date dd/mm/yyyy> -i disc_file -r
 
Qn2:There are many MRC products for which discount is eligible, if run pin_rerate with -p option then have to specify all those product names in -p .

2.1: Is there are any way to make sure only selective accounts to be picked along with -p option?

2.2: pin_rerate is creating new events even though old and new event charges are same. This will cause an impact on event_t table. How can one avoid new events if there is no change in event amount during pin rerate?
