State of the Messages in Oracle AQ Are Not Changed from WAITING to READY After the Delay Expires (Doc ID 2846311.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Health Insurance Enterprise Policy Administration - Version 3.21.2.0.0 and later
Generic Linux

Symptoms

Oracle Health Insurance applications - Version 3.21.2.0.0 and later

Information in this document applies to any platform with Oracle RAC database configuration.

Oracle Health Insurance applications use Oracle AQ for asynchronous task processing.

In some use cases (eg: data replication in claims and connector configuration in policies), the message is enqueued to AQ with a delay.

After the delay expires, the state of the message should be ready to be consumed.

However the dequeue call did not dequeue those messages because the state of the message in OHI_TASK_QUEUE_TABLE is still 1 (WAITING) even after the delay expires.
