Case_Event_Detail Record Is Not Deleted If Product Is Changed From Suspect To Concomitant (Doc ID 2847217.1)

Last updated on JULY 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety - Version 8.2.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Events-->Product Event Details screen shows the Product Event Matrix for suspect products.

If a suspect product gets modified to a 'Concomitant' or Treatment' product, the product no longer appears on the Events >Product - Event Details screen as expected,  however the record within the CASE_EVENT_DETAIL table still exists and is not updated to reflect it has been deleted.

Steps:

Under Events> Product - Events Details Tab
Both products are reflected. (this is expected behavior)

When executing the following for example:

Two records will be returned with DELETED column (null)

Events> Product - Events Details Tab will only reflect Product #1 as expected.

However when executing the above query again, two records are still returned with the DELETED column remaining (null).
It is expected that the record for Product #2 will now have a DELETED date populated to reflect the change.
