Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When this option "AcpSaveCheckAllowWrongRegen=0" is set in the "AcpCustomer9.ini" of the MCAD connector, it prevents check in of top level assemblies even if the wrong regeneration status issue is at the sub assembly level.

Expected behavior:

This option should only prevent the check in if there is a wrong regeneration status at the first level assembly level not at the sub level assembly level.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the file "AcpCustomer9.ini" located in "<xPLM Install Dir>\OraclePLM\acp\ini".
  2. Set option "AcpSaveCheckAllowWrongRegen" to false like this:

  3. Try to check in an assembly which has a wrong regeneration status issue at the sub assembly level.
  4. Notice it is preventing the save, the "Continue" button is disabled on the Save dialog.
