Symptoms

On Agile 9.3.6.0 version, FMW upgrade from 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4 is failing at step "Reconfigure The WLS Domain"

When attempting to upgrade FMW from 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4, the following error occurs.

"Reconfigure the WLS Domain" it is failing with below error message.

CFGWK-64254 Error occurred in "Reading Domain" phase execution
Encountered error: UPGWLS-03503: The domain configuration file
@agile-home@/agileDomain/config/config.xml is not valid

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install Agile 9.3.6.x
2. Install FMW 12.2.1.3
3. Upgrade FMW 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4 as per the KM note (Doc ID 2696416.1)
