Symptoms
On all versions of Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C) and Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) up to and including 12.0.3.0, when querying for Virtual Private Network (VPN) network related information through the Provisioning Interface (PI), the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) response contains invalid characters in the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) tags. For example:
The invalid characters from the above output "<pi:NETWORK[1]name:<NAME>,TAG>" include the square brackets ("[", "]"), the second colon (":"), and the comma (",").
