How to Update the P6 Web Application Start and Stop Scripts to Add a Job Services (or Other) Managed Server (Doc ID 2850144.1)

Goal

The p6jobservices.war file provided in P6 EPPM versions 19.12 and later allows an administrator to configure Job Services to run as a deployment on a managed server, as an alternative to running it as a separate Java process (cf. How to Configure a Separate Java Process for P6 Services (Job Services) in P6 EPPM 8.1 and Later Releases (Doc ID 1357440.1)).

This creates a scenario where an additional managed server is created, that is not included in the original python scripts used to start and stop the WebLogic managed servers - i.e. the <P6 EPPM home>\scripts\stop_Primavera.bat (/.sh) and start_Primavera.bat (/.sh) scripts.

This is especially useful when the start_Primavera script is configured to run automatically  at system startup.

This document details the steps to add a new managed server to the start and stop scripts.
