Changes Made to Affected Item's Description Field Under Affected Item Tab of a Change Object, Can Not Be Recorded In History Tab

Symptoms
Actual Behavior
Update Item Description from the Change object's Affected Item Tab's Item Description field, but the change if the Item Description field is not recorded in Item's History tab of appropriate revision
Expected Behavior
Update Item Description from the Change object's Affected Item Tab's Item Description field, then the change of Item Description field is recorded in Item's History tab of appropriate revision
Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Log into Web Client, and search for the released Item, and Open
- From the Item, do Actions > Create New > Changes, and create a Change against the Item
- Select a Workflow, Save, and keep it in Pending status
- Go to Affected Item tab of the Change, and update the Item Description field of the item.
Note: The user need to have modify privilege for Change.Affected Items.Item Description field - Update New Rev field, and Save
- Promote the status to release the Item
- Open the Item in released revision. Go to History tab. Do not see the update of Item Description recorded.
- Check History tab of the Change object. Do not see the update of Affected Items Description recorded in the Change object either
