REFEODINVENTORY.KSH Requires Filtering as It Processes Records with No Activity (Doc ID 2852574.1)

Last updated on MARCH 01, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The RMS 16.0.3 (RMS_16.0.3_CUMULATIVE_HF_SEP_2021_1) version of the REFEODINVENTORY.KSH will select all records from ITEM_LOC_SOH for processing. However, the RMS 19.0.1 version will only select records that have ever had any activity.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The filtering needs to be ported from Bug 28150239

Steps to Reproduce
-----------------------
1. Identify records in ITEM_LOC_SOH that have never had any activity (all columns zero). Also, make sure ITEM_LOC_SOH has over 1 billion records.
2. Run REFEODINVENTORY.KSH
3. Notice records with no activity have been created in ITEM_LOC_SOH_EOD.
4. Notice REFEODINVENTORY.KSH has run for a long time.
