Symptoms

When attempting to open a new file from AutoVue, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Unifier cannot connect to the AutoVue server. You may be missing the required certificate. To attain the certificate and instructions go to View Help menu in Unifier and click Download plugins

WHAT IS WORKING

The first file that is opened loads correctly ( most of the time)

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Unifier Production
  2. Navigate to any of the Documents
  3. Open the file in AutoVue
  4. Close the file
  5. Open a new one from the AutoVue browser
  6. Notice the error
