Multiple Buckets Not Supported When Total Value Exceeds Max Int32 (Doc ID 2855991.1)

Last updated on JUNE 30, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 12.0.4.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC) 12.0.4.0.0 version

When a wallet has multiple buckets of the same balance type (data type) where the total value exceeds max int32, there are the following issues :

- It is not possible to add a new bucket via  provisioning interface (PI) recharge or graphical user interface (GUI) when the new total value of the buckets is larger than 32 bit

- When a wallet has 2 buckets where the total value is larger than 32bit (this can happen when a new large bucket with offset date has become active), then the total value becomes negative and the call is refused with insufficient funds (INSF).

- If the total balance is more than 32bit limit and even after deletion of one of the bucket if the total balance crosses 32bit limit, then during this scenario customer is not able to delete the bucket.
