Planned Orders Released from Supply Chain Workbench Causing Requisition Import to Fail with Secondary Unit of Measure Errors (Doc ID 2864153.1)

Symptoms

Planned orders released from Supply Chain Workbench as Internal Requisitions are failing with the following errors for specific items.

The records show as failed in the PO_INTERFACE_ERRORS table:

INTERFACE_TYPE / INTERFACE_TRANSACTION_ID / COLUMN_NAME / ERROR_MESSAGE
REQIMPORT / 686398 / SECONDARY_QUANTITY / The item is defined to be tracked in its primary unit of measure only. A secondary quantity is NOT required.
REQIMPORT / 686398 / SECONDARY_UNIT_OF_MEASURE / The item is defined to be tracked in its primary unit of measure only. A secondary unit of measure is NOT required.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.  Responsibility:  Advanced Supply Chain Planner
2.  Navigation:  Supply Chain Plan > Workbench
3.  Query the item to release
4.  Select the Release checkbox for the Planned Order
5.  Select Plan > Release to release the order
6.  Observe the error
