Relationships Not Saved When Dissolving Activity In P6 Web (Doc ID 2864156.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In P6 web, when an activity is dissolved, in the relationships tab of activity details we see created relationships in italics. After saving the change the relationships tab does not display any predecessors or successors.

This issue is not happening all the time. Only some of the time.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When dissolving an Activity, the dissolved activity is removed and the predecessor and successor activities are joined to maintain the project’s network logic

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. In P6 Web, open or create a project with activities that have predecessor/successor relationships
2. Highlight an activity with predecessor/successor relationships
3. Open the Activity Details view > Relationships tab
4. Click the gear icon next to that activity and select Dissolve
5. Click Yes to confirm you want to dissolve the activity
6. Notice the predecessor/successor activities in the Activity Details are now italicized
7. Click Save
8. Notice the italicized activities stay in italics
9. Refresh page
10. Notice predecessor/successor relationships that should have been joined have disappeared.
