Malformed IPv6 address error while accessing UI using latest JDK 8u331 (Doc ID 2866047.1)

Symptoms

UIM 7.4.1 with JDK 1.8u331 to apply April 22 CPU. However upon successful login to UIM, users getting redirected to error page with below error in logs:


oracle.adf.share.ADFShareException: ADFSHARE-00120: Error encountered while creating the MDS Session. Application state will be reset. Please logout and log back in if problem persists.

Caused By: oracle.adf.share.security.ADFSecurityIdentityProviderException:
Malformed IPv6 address at index 8: ldap://[SERVERNAME]:PORT.>
at oracle.adf.share.security.providers.jps.IgfIdentityManagementProvider.getIdsUserList(IgfIdentityManagementProvider.java:1238)
at oracle.adf.share.security.providers.jps.IgfIdentityManagementProvider.getUserProfileList(IgfIdentityManagementProvider.java:541)
