Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 12.0.0.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

One user is changing the local time on  Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) UNIX servers from Central standard time to UTC. The timezone change to UTC will be done in Production system where account creation, billing, invoicing, gl_reports etc. are executed.

The concern is the time change would effect billing or rating, as it would using pin_virtual_time, cycle forwards, and cycle arrears partial charges, etc.

What are the impacts to BRM applications billing/invoicing/gl_reports with timestamps fields in BRM objects ( i.e start_t, created_t, effective_t, end_t, actg_next_t, etc.) before and after changing timezones?
