Error: "Files cannot be viewed because of a missing system configuration setting" Viewing Documents Through AutoVue in Unifier (Doc ID 2866391.1)

On : Unifier Self Host

When double clicking on the file from the preview pane in a Business Process (BP) record, attachment files download as expected. When using the gear icon to open the attachment in AutoVue, the file opens in AutoVue as expected. When users open the record, choose attachments tab in the right pane and double click on an attachment, the receive the following error:

"Files cannot be viewed because of a missing system configuration setting. Contact System Administrator."

Error in log file shows the following:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to a BP record and open it with a double click
  2. Choose the attachments tab in the right pane, and double click an attachment
  3. A window opens, structured to show a preview, and the middle pane provides an error.
