"Select Columns" Dialog Does Not List Names For Hidden Columns

Symptoms
On : 2.4.0.1.0 version, Web Workspace
WA #STATUS_DESCRIPTION field is not appearing in Select Columns when visibility is set to false
Work Agenda #STATUS_DESCRIPTION field is disappearing from Select Columns dialog when default visibility is set to false. This is reproducible in OPAL environment (2.4.1.0.15).
When the default visibility is set to true, it's appearing fine fine with data in Work Agenda table. But when set to false, it's disappearing from Work Agenda, but it's also not available to select from hidden columns (Select Columns dialog).
No error in client logs.
The columns should be listed in the Select Field dialog
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Confirm that WorkAgenda's STATUS_DESCRIPTION is configured thusly (in $NMS_CONFIG/jconfig/ops/workagenda/xml/WORKAGENDA_TBL_WA_ALARMS.inc:
In 2.4.0.1, Login to Web workspace
Right click on the column headers in Workagenda to bring up the "Select Columns" dialog.
"Status Description" is not listed.
