Numeric Query-Based Data Element Values Are Changed After Submitting a Form (Doc ID 2867170.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When a user fills multiple Data Elements (DEs) by clicking a trigger DE for the Query Based Data Element (QBDE) in Unifier, the numbers displayed are correct.  But when they click Send and forward the form to next step, the DE numbers are converted into a summation of all columns, ignoring the original query condition.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The numbers should not be altered after clicking Send.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In Unifier, navigate to the applicable workspace.
  2. Create a record, fill in the details and submit the form.
  3. Check the upper/detail form and note that the Data Element numbers are changed as reported.
