Unable to Add Certain Users in CC if the User Is Part of the Workflow in Previous Steps (Doc ID 2867196.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When trying to add users in CC, it is not reflecting in the Workflow Progress Tab and users do not receive any email notification

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When adding users to CC, the copied users should receive email notifications and should be reflected in the workflow progress tab

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Unifier
  2. Navigate to affected Project
  3. Select the Business Process
  4. Open a Record
  5. Add new users to CC
  6. Notice the message: [RECORD_NUMBER] has been copied to the selected users
  7. Check that the new users do not receive emails
  8. Check the Workflow Progress log and notice the users are not present
